Synopsis:

This was the original, fifteen-minute version of "Firewall of Sound," submitted as part of the Spring 2008 UNCW Honors program. The film features interviews with Mac McCaughan (Superchunk), Ned Norland (No Love for Ned), Perry Wright (The Prayers and Tears of Arthur Digby Sellers) and various employees of CD Alley and the now-defunct Schoolkids Records in downtown Chapel Hill and Carrboro, NC.
