2010-2011: Pineapple-Shaped Lamps - Director/Writer/Performer
Wrote, directed and performed in several sketches for the weekly Thursday Night Live comedy production. Also performed, and served as set builder and costume assistant, for an adaptation of Joss Whedon's Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.
2009: AnimEigo, Inc. - Post-Production Assistant
Set timing notes and dialogue markers for Japanese films receiving American DVD distribution, including Sleepy Eyes of Death, Black Rain (Kuroi ame), and the Tora-San box set, which was praised by The New York Times.
2008-2009: Cucalorus Film Festival - Programmer/Committee Member
Worked as a festival programmer of feature-length narratives for the internationally recognized film festival.
2008: Cinepartners/Cine Expendable Supply - Intern
Collected and delivered lighting and grip equipment to several Wilmington film productions, including The Secret Life of Bees, One Tree Hill, and The Bleeding.
2007-2008: Flicker Film Society - President
Oversaw general activities within this official student organization, created to provide a platform for aspiring filmmakers to develop skills, preparing them for a possible career in the film industry, utilizing and teaching content that was not always taught in classes in the UNCW Film Studies Department.
2007: Reel Teal Film Festival - Director
Organized, programmed, and exhibited the inaugural year of this annual festival, presented by The Flicker Film Society. Reel Teal just held its third festival in April of 2010.
